In 2026, Reach Out and Read at St. Chris is embarking on one of our biggest projects yet:
an on-site library!

Project Goals:

• Promote literacy by making books and other educational resources readily available for patients and families to enjoy. 

• Provide a welcoming environment, especially for patients 5 years and younger. 

• Double as a quiet environment in which parents and caregivers can work during their hospital visit, especially during long inpatient stays.

• Provide space for community partners and reading champions to gather.
